Our team provides an array of consulting services to businesses and government agencies. Our principals have over 60 years of collective experience as both corporate executives and business owners. This experience includes comprehensive knowledge of all facets of business operations, and relationships with leaders throughout many industries.
Recognized for our leadership skills and business acumen, we have served as advisors on a number of corporate for-profit and non-profit boards, including the Federal City Council, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and the Fish and Richardson IP Review Board.
Our strength is our ability to question, listen, analyze and explain solutions to problems, or devise ways to capture opportunities. Our specialties include financial management, effective communication, and training and leadership development. Due to our vast community network, we are also uniquely positioned to connect our clients with industry leaders and potential employees.
In 2016 we added the capabilities of DC Growth Partners, a unique advisory unit within WOI focused on assisting local expansion stage companies achieve their growth goals.
Effective communications and branding is important for any business. The WOI team is well-versed in this discipline, having served in various capacities as corporate executives, consultants and entrepreneurs.
Throughout our careers, we have also served as corporate spokesmen, conference speakers and public relations specialists. We co-developed an acclaimed SUCCESS Symposium and Video Library Series for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and received writing and communication awards from the prestigious International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
Within this service line we specialize in marketing and public relation (PR) services, including media training; developing communication plans; and writing, editing and printing news releases, brochures and journals.
We proudly provide 24/7 American sign-language interpreting service, through a collaboration with Hands in Motion, for education, conferences, legal, medical, government, performance and fine arts industries. Most requests will require at least two interpreters, which is an industry standard since sign language interpreting is physically demanding.
